There is some evidence to suggest that laser therapy may be more effective than traditional methods like medications or surgery. A study published in The American Journal of Physiology found that rats who were treated with laser therapy had less pain and inflammation than rats who were not treated with laser therapy.
Another study published in The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that patients who received laser therapy for their back pain had significantly less pain than patients who did not receive any treatment at all.
Laser therapy is a promising new treatment option for those suffering from chronic pain. While more research needs to be done to definitively say whether or not it is more effective than traditional methods like medications or surgery, the available evidence does suggest that it may be worth exploring if you are looking for an alternative treatment option.
